Application and New Hire FAQ
Q: Are there upfront costs to get started at Bell?
A: Yes, there are upfront costs: drug test, police scope (background), NTA license and background. This can total between $150–$200.
Q: How long is training before I can start?
A: Training never stops at Bell, but the onboarding for new hires usually lasts between 5–7 days.
Q: Do I get a uniform for work?
A: Yes, depending on the department. Luxury drivers get a suit and tie. The airport per capita drivers receive a polo(s).
Q: If I have a previously booked vacation, what are the rules for new hires?
A: New hires must work for 6 months prior to receiving time off for vacation.
Q: Do I need prior professional driving experience?
A: Previous driving or customer service experience is preferred, but training is provided for qualified applicants.
